The Volute sofa makes that gesture in its bolster roll , a large, integrated cylinder at one end that gives the whole asymmetric silhouette its reason and its drama. In Taupe, the boucle carries the warm, suspended tone of stone between seasons , neither cool nor warm but held precisely and beautifully between the two. Low and grounded, it settles into a room the way the finest pieces always do , gradually, completely, and with no desire to be anywhere else.

It's even more beautiful in real life, there's a texture to the shade that you can't fully appreciate in photos, kind of organic and sculptural at the same time. Delivery was quick and well packed.
