There's a kind of silence certain rooms ask for, not empty, just unhurried. This sofa is built for that register: deep, slab-sided arms run flush with the back, no break in the line, the whole form reading as a single block of soft, undyed linen. Three loose cushions rest along the back like punctuation rather than structure, leaving the seat itself wide enough to disappear into. In Jodhpur, hands shaped the solid wood plinth beneath it, the joinery kept low and almost hidden, so the piece appears to float just above the floor rather than stand on it. Against a minimalist gallery wall or the clean lines of a boutique hotel lobby, its proportions hold the room's negative space rather than filling it. Whether settled into a Hampstead sitting room or the lounge of a quiet retreat, this is the sofa that makes a room feel larger by saying less.
