In white, a form this resolved becomes something closer to sculpture than furniture. Blanc removes every shadow from the silhouette , the trumpet base, the open barrel seat, the seamless all-over upholstery , leaving only pure geometry, as clean and deliberate as a gallery object set at the centre of a room that has earned the right to it. The bouclé surface in ivory white carries a texture that prevents coldness: it is soft to the eye before it is soft to the hand, warm in quality if not in tone. No frame. No leg. No interruption from floor to backrest. Only the form, entirely itself, in the colour that lets it speak without interference.
