By day, a dome of pale fabric, botanical figures just visible through the weave, the scalloped hem catching shadow, the walnut finial at the crown holding it together with a single warm note. By night, the print comes alive. The Velora becomes a lantern, and the room beneath it becomes somewhere entirely its own.
The printed fabric is the Velora's secret. In daylight, the figures and botanicals read as a subtle surface pattern, present but not insistent. When lit, the fabric becomes translucent and the print reveals itself fully: a world within the shade, glowing and soft, visible only to those beneath it. It is the kind of detail that makes a room feel chosen rather than decorated.
The dome itself is divided into panels, each one slightly convex, meeting at a walnut finial at the crown that bridges the shade to the brass drop above. At the hem, a scalloped edge adds a finishing detail that references historical lampshade craft without imitating it, present enough to define the silhouette, restrained enough to feel entirely contemporary. A frosted glass inner disc closes the base, softening the downward light before it reaches the table.
The brass canopy at the ceiling is small and considered, 10cm, barely present. Everything about the Velora draws the eye downward to the shade and the world it contains.
