Sedra is built from the conversation between two materials that understand each other completely. The travertine top , circular, warm-toned, its surface carrying the amber and cream of stone formed layer by patient layer , sits above three rectangular walnut panels that stand as base columns with the quiet authority of something architectural rather than merely structural. The walnut, in its deep warm grain, carries the travertine with the naturalness of earth holding stone. At 90 centimeters across, the circular top brings a softness to the rectangular base that the whole arrangement resolves into something that feels, from every angle, entirely inevitable.
