The construction of the Solenne is its story. Individual stone tiles, each one veined, each one unique, are set side by side in two staggered rings, the upper tier offset from the lower, the chrome studs at the crown holding the composition with the precision of jewellery. The gaps between tiles let light escape in thin vertical lines that stripe the ceiling above and table below in a pattern that shifts as the eye moves.
From directly beneath, the Solenne reveals its full depth, the inner tier visible through the outer, the light source concealed entirely, the glow emanating from within the stone itself in a warmth that no manufactured material can replicate. It is not a chandelier that announces itself. It is one that reveals itself, slowly, to those who look.
