The composition is the Orien's distinguishing quality. Most wall lights present a single surface to the room. The Orien presents depth, a smoked glass outer disc that frames and reflects, a brushed brass inner bowl that catches the glow and holds it, and a precise LED ring at the centre that illuminates without ever showing its source. Together they create the impression of looking into something rather than at something.
The smoked glass is not decorative. It darkens the perimeter, drawing all visual attention to the lit centre, a principle borrowed from photography and theatre alike. The brass bowl amplifies the warmth, bouncing it back toward the viewer in a way that makes the room feel closer, more intimate, more deliberate.
