Every disc catches the light differently. Staggered across two rows around a brass ring, upper row flat, lower row angled outward, the Lioren fills a room with a scattered, jewelled warmth that no flat shade and no conventional chandelier can replicate.
The composition is dense and considered. Individual textured glass discs, each one slightly concave, each one faceted across its face, are mounted in two offset rows on a brass ring armature. The upper row faces the room. The lower row angles downward and outward, catching the light from a different direction, reflecting it toward the table below in pools that shift as the eye moves around the piece. At the centre, a domed disc below the ring closes the composition and concentrates the downward light, the finishing detail that transforms a chandelier into an object of considered craft.
Three colourways, each one a completely different emotional register. Clear, which reads as crisp and contemporary and transforms in low light to a warm, crystal-like shimmer. Olive, which carries the depth of coloured glass and gives the room beneath it a distinctly verdant, botanical warmth. Amber, which glows like burnished gold and makes any space beneath it feel like the hour before sunset, held still.
At 80cm and only 28cm deep, the Lioren is wide and low, the ideal proportion for a dining table chandelier. Present without imposing. Substantial without overwhelming.
